I had a cozy stay at this guest house, enjoying the lovely breakfast and friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming, and I appreciated the nice location near Seaview Point. However, the steep walk back to the hotel could be challenging for some, and unfortunately, the pool was out of order during my visit.

Rooms

My room was spacious and charming, really felt like a little apartment. However, it was a bit dark, and being close to the kitchen meant I was woken up by the chatter of other guests in the morning.
Service

The service was quite mixed. While some staff were accommodating, I experienced a noticeable lack of professionalism from others, which detracted from my overall experience.
Location

The location is convenient, just a short walk to the main road with plenty of restaurants and a bus stop nearby, making it easy to explore. However, it is on a bit of a hill, so be prepared for some steep walking.

Breakfast was enjoyable, offering a variety of options like cereals, fresh bread, and eggs cooked to order, although I wish there had been more fresh options instead of processed meats.
Facilities

The facilities were well-kept but unfortunately, the pool was out of order during my stay, which was disappointing given the hot weather.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique guest house. The location is fantastic, just a short ride from the city center and close to attractions like Clifton Beach and Table Mountain. The style of the rooms is modern and inviting, and the breakfast each morning was a delightful start to the day. However, there were some issues with noise in my room, and it would have been nicer to have better air circulation during warmer days.

The breakfast was delightful, although it faced some organization hiccups during busier times. The service was very courteous, making our experience quite pleasant. However, the lack of air conditioning and some issues with the pool maintenance were noticeable drawbacks, but overall, it offered great value for money.

The staff was exceptionally courteous, and the stylish rooms really added to the experience. The breakfast was excellent each morning. My only downside was that the pool was out of order during my stay, which was unfortunate given the hot weather. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a lovely getaway.

My stay at the Sweet Lemon was delightful! The guesthouse is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, just a short walk from the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants. The room was very nice, but we faced some noise issues at night. Breakfast was fantastic, especially since I'm a fan of hearty meals, but the parking situation was a bit tricky. Overall, a charming place with some quirks, but I would recommend it as a cozy getaway.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in was quite nice and comfortable, but the noise from the hallway made it hard to sleep at times. It had quirky decor and was well-equipped, but I wouldn't say there were any great views.

While the place had a cozy vibe, parking was quite limited, which made it challenging at times. Overall, the facilities met my needs well.
